Job Overview
Job Title: Network Engineer
Work Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
- Requirements:
- Bachelor degree
- CCNA, CCNP, CCVP or equivalent
- Exp: 3 – 5 years’
- Performs any and all activities associated with the network infrastructure and telecommunications services.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to switches, routers, gateways, Internet connectivity, VoIP, wireless appropriate management tools
- Intermediate knowledge of routing and switching technologies, configurations & network protocols
- Intermediate understanding of troubleshooting methodologies, steps, and tools
- Intermediate Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques, problem resolution standards, and problem analysis procedures
- Intermediate knowledge of local and wide area network connectivity
- Experience with ITIL concepts, Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Understanding of Configuration Items (CIs) to ensure compliance with provisioned policies
- Understanding of security policies, procedures standards to promote consistency of security products and services
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Understanding of various monitoring, and management tools
