Job Overview
Microsoft SQL Database Administrator (MS SQL DBA)
Location: United Arab Emirates
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience on MS-SQL DB administration with 5 + years of experience
- Experience in Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, Migration, Automation and Administration of SQL Server 2017/2016/2014/ 2012/ 2008/R2/2005.
- Experience in SQL server baseline (SQL server hardening).
- Experience in database creation and security (Login creation, permissions).
- Experience in High Availability (HA) /Disaster Recovery (DR) configuration.
- HADR using Replication, Log Shipping, Database Mirroring, Clustering, Always-On.
- Experience in SQL server migration and upgrade (In-place and side by side) from SQL server lower version to higher version.
- Experience in SQL server migration and upgrade on Standalone, SQL server clustering and Always-On servers.
- Experience in implementing TDE on SQL server databases.
- Experience SQL server patching on Standalone, SQL server clustering and Always-On servers.
- Experience installing and configuring reporting servers SSRS.
- Good knowledge on SQL Server integration, and analysis services (SSIS, SSAS).
