Job Overview
Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking or commercial finance performing similar functions
- Should have worked in implementation of big data infrastructure including development of databases and data pipes (real time preferable)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in any two of Scala, Python, SAS or R
- Expertise in relational SQL and No SQL databases
- Should have working knowledge in credit risk modelling {underwriting, collections, IFRS9, PD, LGD}
- Experience in data analysis; ability to drive and extrapolate insights from business questions
Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- The job holder will be working as data analyst and should have an ability to perform data quality assessment, data cleansing, transformation and enrichment publish them into logical/ physical DataMart for analytics team.
- Understand Business expectations, Portfolio history, Target Segments, Planned Model Usage, etc.
- Collect Data and perform necessary due diligence viz. missing values, outliers, reconciliation with MIS and business reports.
- Ensure that Model Development Data is aligned with the Project objective
